Born and raised in the Shoals Area of northern Alabama, Elias Patriot (Daniel Crisler) is a 
devout scholar and follower of such historic singer/songerwriters as Bob Dylan, Neil Young,
and Woody Guthrie. Most known for his soft, raspy vocals and metaphorical lyrics, Elias 
Patriot continually strives to find the deep of the inside and bring it to the outside in 
the form of song and lyric. You can easily find him bumming around coffee shops and art 
galleries, playing open mic nights and similar music venues. Armed with his little black 
book of lyrics, acoustic axe, and case of harmonicas, he may catch you off guard in a coffee 
shop singing songs that could've easily been picked from the lost and found. Keep a clear
eye out for this lone beatnik. He's coming to a coffee house near you.
