The Chicken Stew Festival: July 3, 2010
Hackberry Records is proud to be sending a couple of our groups to the Chicken Stew Festival in Rhodesville, AL on July 3. When we got the invitation, we just couldn't turn down something that sounds so good! It also falls right in line with our goals to support and promote rural Alabama initiatives, so we are THRILLED to be sending Sparrow + the Ghost and Elias Patriot up to represent us! The two will also play at Old Town Tavern in Sheffield, AL on the 2nd.

Hackberry Records Welcomes The Brooms
Hackberry Records is proud to announce that The Brooms have joined the Hackberry family! This blues-rock band from Tuscaloosa has earned accolades from random people driving next to me, all the way to the late Willie King. To say we're excited about having them on board would be an understatement. We'll have a full artist page and music ready very soon. In the meantime, check out their myspace.
